| House of Brides - AVOID! |   | House of Brides saw fit to cancel my order without informing me of it and without issuing a refund. Their customer service is rubbish - the staff are rude and unhelpful. Two months and over 20 phone calls later, and still I have no refund.
Because they didn't tell me that the order was cancelled, it's now too late for me to get a matching dress, and one of my bridesmaids will be dressed completely differently to the rest. Thanks, House of Brides, for screwing up my wedding.
I have ordered from them in the past so thought that they would be okay. But if they take it into their heads to mess up your order, there's nothing you can do. Don't risk it. Buy somewhere else - their cheaper prices are simply not worth all the stress, and you will run up an astronomical phone bill attempting to sort it out (they say they'll call you back but they never do. They also give you disconnected numbers to contact them by).
Even the orders that I placed before that actually arrived took about twice as long as they said they would.
