I was on the hunt for my perfect dress and I found Tiara & Tails after googling shops in my local area.
I called Helena who I instantly felt was a warm and friendly person just from the phone call. I was right!! I had my appointment & can't thank her enough. Her patience, professionalism and care was excellent as well as knowledge on all of her gowns and "the dress" for me.
I went in fairly open minded but Helena knew exactly what would suit me and she was right. I have a dress that she pulled out and suggested I try and I LOVE it & cannot wait to wear in 4 weeks time and I feel like a princess. She doesn't put any pressure on times or anything and you can stand there twirling for as long as you want (within reason!haha!)
Nothing has been too much trouble. I've called and emailed Helena about different things re accessories etc & she's always come back to me.
I'm getting married abroad and Helena and Ingrid - who by the way is a FANTASTIC seamstress and has altered my dress perfectly (highly recommended as the best seamstress I have ever used / ever heard of when comparing to friends alterations) - are steaming and packing my dress in a travel box for me.
I really can't thank them enough for putting me at ease and making the whole experience so pleasurable.
There is a huge range of dresses, shoes, jewellery and head jewels so T&T can give you the whole package.

| I have ordered my dress from Helena. I'm a plus size bride it was quite an ordeal for me to go into another wedding shop after being looked upon for being a plus size from others. I walked into Tiara and tails and was great by Helena with a smile and good manners and got told i'm not a plus size I'm a curvy lady. I got my dress just as stated and my bridesmaid dresses and my little boy page boy suit. All have arrived on time and look great. Helena kept me up to speed on everything from the 1st try on to ordering to delivery has been so helpful and it was so nice to beable to get all my bits under one roof. Wedding Dress, Bridesmaids dress, Page boy outfit and tiaras, veil and shoes for all. The fact she has a Seamstress on the premises is an added bonus as you do not need to go anywhere else for anything. I would and have recommended TIARA AND TAILS to friends and colleague who have also been pleased with the service. |

| I went to tiara and tails after a failed 2 trips to 2 other dress shops. The 1st of which pretty much ripped the veil from my head when she realised I was not purchasing a dress on that day as there was one from a new collection that wasn't out at the time that I wanted to try. Needless to say it put me off going to a dress shop for nearly a year. Once my moh convinced me we needed to go to a shoo again I reluctantly went and found the 2nd dress shop rude and pretty much told me I was too fat for the dress I wanted so again I left there disheartened. I had thus image in my head that it would b like on TV when u go and try a dress on but it wasn't. Until I walked into Helenas shop and omg what a difference. I told her what I wanted and she made it so special for me and it was everything I imagined. She knew exactly what I wanted but still to give me the experience and so I knew that the dress she had picked was perfect for me. Only after I was in that dress and I told her it was what I wanted that we discussed all of the above so it was all genuine. As we chatted and joked for the rest of my session, in my chosen dress, she told me I was her last client and could stay as long as I liked. If I had to do it all again I would have went to her first. She was so funny and understanding. Highly recommended!! |

I purchased my wedding dress from Tiara & Tails, I saw a picture uploaded on their Facebook page and had to make an appointment to try the beautiful dress on. At my Appointment I tried different styles off dresses on and then tried the one I had saw online it fitted like a glove and has to have it, the staff were so friendly they really made me feel computable like being in your own home.
Since purchasing my dress I have been back for fittings to show my bridesmaids this was not a problem with Tiara & Tails they were helpful as ever!
I also purchased my bridesmaid shoes from here from there sale which was very reasonable, I would recommend you to join them on Facebook were they upload pictures of their stock.
I really cannot thank the team at Tiara & Tails as I got treated like every bride to be should be treated.
I would recommend you to go to Tiara & Tails and try there bridal gowns on they have some lovely stock and also shoes and jewellery.

| I met Helena and first heard about her business at The Old Kent Barn wedding fair where I am due to get married. I knew the Old Kent Barn would only have trusted suppliers and contacts that they had positive feedback from previous clients. Although Ashford is a 50 minute drive from my house, after chatting to Helena at the wedding fair she seemed like she knew exactly what she was doing which made me feel I could trust her to find the perfect dress for me. Especially as we were planning our wedding in 7 weeks! The day of my appointment we arrived and was greeted with the same friendly attitude by Helena and her colleague. I explained my time scale which seemed to be a challenge for most bridal shops that I had previously visited but Helena reassured me she can get me a brand new dress in 4 weeks. The other shops I would have to take a dress of the rack at a discount price. She only let me try on the dresses that she could actually get in my time scale which was great because there is nothing worse than finding your perfect dress to hear the shop cant get it in your size before the wedding! I wanted an honest opinion as being a size 16 bride and not having much time to lose weight I wanted a dress that was as slimming as possible for my shape! She let me go through all the dresses saying which ones I liked and disliked and telling me which ones were out of the time frame or sizing. She knew which style dresses would suit my hourglass figure to make the most of my best bits. I was undecided on some but I trusted her opinion as an observer to which was most slimming and reassured me which looked the best. I loved Helena's honesty, it was done in a professional way and a way your friend would be which is just what you need! An exceptional businesswoman who cared more about my needs than selling me the most expensive dress in the shop and lying to me saying it looked amazing which I had from other bridal shops I had visited. I had 99% made my mind up that I had 'the dress!' I called early one morning later in the week to ask if I could pop in to try it on again and even though she had another dress fitting her colleague assisted me who again was lovely. I chose that dress! Helena measured me and my measurements came out at a size 18. The dress I chose was a 12! which actually fitted but not perfectly on the bust. So I didn't even query what size she chose for me as I trusted she knew what was best. She had been in the industry and knew more about it than I did! She ordered me a 16 and advised it would be 4 weeks. 2 weeks before my wedding last Sunday dead on 4 weeks I arranged to go and collect. This was her day off and I really appreciated her coming to the shop so I could collect. She asked if I would like to try it on to check it was ok. I did and it fitted perfectly! she got the sizing spot on as I was 100% confident she would. We got along as friends laughing and joking and she still remained professional. The dress came in a good quality pink dress bag to which she put the dress back in for me and helped me to the car. I have recommended her to lots of brides through work and friends and even the 50 minute journey is definitely worth it! I will be sending her pictures of me in my dress when I get married in 9 days time! Thank you Helena xx |

| I paid a lot of money for my bridal outfit from this store and my bridesmaids dresses. Service was great until I handed over my money. All my dresses were late to arrive into store giving me only a few weeks to get them altered. This would have been just about okay if the bridesmaids dresses were ordered in the right size! I had to spend over £200 getting my bridesmaids dresses altered to actually fit my girls. They went individually to try them on in store whilst I was in work and the manager put them all in the same dress so when I took them away and tried them on in the sizes ordered for them it was a scary situation to be in when I found out they didn't fit with only a few weeks to the wedding. Luckily I had a clever seamstress who made lovely new backs for the dresses out of the scarfs they came with! My dress arrived with bits falling off it and it was all a big hassle and nightmare from start to finish. Don't go here! |
