I said yes to the dress!
I've just put my deposit on my beautiful wedding dress at Confetti and Lace. The ladies in there were friendly and my dress consultant Brogan was amazing. She picked some dresses out and me and my friend also picked some as well. She was so patient and put my straight at ease. After finding my beautiful dress I wanted to bring back my mum to she could see the dress. Brogan was so helpful and got me an appointment for the following week (today). I was so pleased with the dress and I loved it even more than last week!

We got some Buck's Fizz to celebrate! I feel Brogan tried and wanted to do everything possible to help me and make me feel comfortable. I've read some negative reviews since but so far they have been amazing! Don't let these put you off!

First Class Service
I booked a last minute appointment after being completely let down by my original bridal store. They treated my mum and I like royalty, listened to our dilemma and really went the extra mile to ensure I was happy. They listen and intuitively know which dresses to show you. In no time, I was a very happy bride to be and can't believe how beautiful my dress is. If only I'd come to see these guys in the first place! Would 100% recommend these wonderful ladies to any bride looking for a first class dress purchasing experience :) shout out to Danielle - she's amazing!!! Xxx

Brilliant
I am so pleased, that I did not take notice of the negative reviews on here. As after trying on a few dresses, I began to worry that I wasn't going to find the one for me but the lady's in the shop where amazing "sue" who helped me, was brilliant as I basically walked into the shop with no idea of what I wanted, and with only 3 and a half months until my wedding I felt lost however "sue" went out to the shop and came back with my "dream dress" which my tearful mother brought on the spot. I cannot wait to return and try it on again, highly recommended.

Appalling service stay away!!!!!!!!!!
If i could give a lower rating i would. Apart from the lady that does the alterations my whole experience was terrible. The lady who originally served me clearly did not pay attention to what i was saying to her as she couldn't even remember my now husbands name. She also must not of been trained correctly because she measured me for my dress to be ordered for it to arrive a year later and to have it not fit. When i originally went in July 2014 i got into a size 14 with only it being to small around my bust but a year later they couldn't get a size 16 done up at all. When i was remeasured the alterations lady measured me at 3 inches bigger all over than the year before. I could not believe this because i had been dieting and exercising so not to get bigger not to mention i find it unlikely that i put on that much weight and so evenly. When this was queried with the manager about the dress size, she turned round and told me it was not their fault it was because i got fat. I don't believe this was the case but even if it had been i find it appalling service to tell your customers that they are fat, i am surprised such a rude and unprofessional person still has a job. I was then told i would have to pay £175 to have the back changed from a zip to a corset as they could not alter it any other way, despite the fact that at the time of ordering the sales person said all dresses could be let out and taken in up to 3 dress sizes. I paid and left the shop feeling very upset and distressed as it was only 3 months to my wedding. 3 weeks before my wedding i went back and it did up this time but it still needed more work as i was unable to sit properly in the dress. I was then told i would have to pay a further £180 for my alterations, even though previously i was told it was £180 for up to 3 sets of alterations which i had already paid. To which i was informed even though i had to have the corset back put in so my dress would fit they classed it as a customisation not an alteration.
Frankly if you want a stressful experience and to be ripped of this is the shop for you especially as i found out just before my wedding they were selling the same dress i purchase for £200 more than 3 other places i found.

THEY SELL FAKE WEDDING DRESSES.
AWFUL shop, please don't buy your dress from here. THEY SELL FAKE WEDDING DRESSES!!! I bought a dress I had tried on only to find when I picked it up that it was the wrong dress, similar in shape, but the detailing was VERY different, cheap looking and ridiculously too big for me to the point altering it would not have been possible, definitely not the dress I'd tried on and paid for. Confetti and Lace would do nothing to fix the problem and would not refund me. Not only that but the dress label (hand written!) said it was a 2007 design and a size 8 which it clearly wasn't. I'm 5'2" and a petite 6. The label said it was a design by Callista which is for the larger lady and their sizes start at 12, also they werent designing dresses as far back as 2007 so the labelling was obviously wrong/faked. I have written numerous letters to their shop and their registered offices but have had no reply. I am now looking to take legal action against them. I had to buy another dress to wear for my wedding. Avoid at all costs.

disgraceful
after having my pregnant daughter in tears twice I would not recommend this shop if it was the one and only bridal shop in the world.
