Poor service    
My daughter ordered her bridesmaids dresses from here and although the initial selection process was fine the follow up service was extremely poor.
The dresses were ordered about 8 months before the wedding but we had to keep chasing up re delivery so that we could arrange fitting. It was extremely hard to arrange times for fittings as they only liked to do it through the week and so the bridesmaids had to take time off work - 1 of them required 3 fittings. When we came back for fittings the ladies on the shop were very unwelcoming and standoffish. The lady who did the alterations was awful- rude and actually just took a pair of scissors and cut the length whilst the dress was on. It was never hemmed and looked cheap and tatty. The dresses cost about 300 each and fitting another 50 and we were made to feel terrible. Fortunately my daughter bought her dress elsewhere, they hemmed her dress beautifully and made her feel special.
Altogether I cannot stress how poor they were. Both bridesmaids were so disgusted by the shop that they would not look there for their own weddings.

I found my dream dress at Opulence    
I had experienced some pushy bridal shops before I visited this shop so I didn't expect much. As soon as I stepped into the shop I felt so excited - it's very tidy and well presented! I was greatly advised by Valda, who was so lovely and helpful. Not only did she listen to my needs, she also understood I was on a tight budget. I tried on a couple of dresses before Valda picked out this amazing dress that was just how I imagined my dream dress to look! So a massive thank you to the Opulence team, especially Valda.

Brilliant service exceptional staff.     
Our daughter had 4 days to choose her dress over Christmas 2013 before she flew home to Singapore. Out of eight shops we visited this was by far our best experience. Having found the dress of her dreams, we discussed alterations in detail. We felt secure in the knowledge that all would be perfect. It was. Having just picked up her dress the brilliant service continued We both feel secure with the team at opulance they all went above and beyond the service expected. I would highly recommend that all brides visit this store and to make it number one on your list. Thank you all especially Valda.

Please be very careful. I Bought my Wedding Gown, Veil, Tiara, Bridesmaids Dresses and Hair pieces from Jean and her husband at Opulence Bride in West Kirby. I had nothing but trouble, the Bridesmaids Dresses came in totally the wrong colour, that was when my nightmare started and its a very long story so I will just tell you the main issue. I eventually got my dress home thinking my nughtmare was over. I opened up the bag containing my dress 2 days before my wedding to let the dress breath and settle and was horrified that the main detail of the dress which was flowers had fell off as they had all been glued on!!! I payed an absoloute fortune for it and they were glued and not sewn I could not believe it!! I had travelled from Ireland to buy my dresses from Opulence so was not able to take it back to them for them to fix it for me (not that it should have needed to be fixed) my poor Mum spent hours sewing all the flowers back on as I couldnt even bare to look at it myself as I was so distressed. I then checked my veil and found that she had not shortened it to the correct length, it was far too long as it was supposed to sit just a little longer than my dress but it was much much longer. On the day of my wedding the Bridesmaids put their dresses on and where horrified when the stitching of the halter necks that Jean and her team at Opulence had attached came apart and as the photographer had already arrived and time had ran out we had to pin them together and hope the rest of the dresses stayed together, my mum had to take needle and cotton with her for all our dresses to fix them throughout the day. Total nightmare with all 3 dresses bought from Opulence Bride!! I left a comment on their Facebook Page to tell them how upset I was after having no contact from them after our 1st phone call and then emails to them to tell them what had happened, I received NO appology, NO follow up at all from them and they also deleted my comment from their facebook page as soon as it was put on there. Please be careful as I would hate this to happen to anyone else as I spent the days before my wedding in tears and very stressed and also worried the whole day of my wedding about what else might fall off our dresses and I remember the first time I stepped out of the Car I had to check my dress to make sure nothing was falling or had fell off, what a memory to have :( Please be careful girl's.

After almost 30 years, this is the only review of this kind I have
experienced. All I can say is that there are two sides to every story.

There seems little to be gained from discussing the accuracy or otherwise of the comments made, nor the possible reasons for the
alleged problems. I only regret not having had the opportunity to discuss this matter last year.
