Excellent shop and service
I went to Matchmaker back in May 2009 for my wedding in May 2010. They couldn't have been any more helpful. They are very welcoming and their gowns are beautiful.
The sales assistant didn't rush me at all and let me try on as many dresses as I liked. When it came down to choosing my dress she was very honest and told me she liked my favourite even though it was the cheaper of the 2 I was comparing.
After purchasing my dress I was told that it would arrive in October or November, as I live overseas it is important for me to be able to plan my trips home. When I rang in September I was told it wouldn't be in until January, when I explained my situation and that I was back in November and wouldnt be in again until march she phoned the designer and managed to get them to deliver it in November instead.
My only criticism of the whole experience to date is that when my sister (who was 7 months pregnant at the time) asked to use their bathroom she was told they didn't have one.... which I find very hard to believe!

Disappointed B2B
My mum travelled over 150 miles to accompany me to try on some dresses at this shop, and we couldn't have been more disappointed. Despite booking an appointment we were ignored for about 15 minutes after entering the shop, and then we greeted by a very snooty assistant who appeared to look us up and down and decide we were not worthy of her shop. We were so shocked by the rudeness that we walked out without even trying on anything. The dresses also appear overpriced when compared to the same designers stocked in shops in Chelmsford. I didn't see anything under £1,000 apart from those on the sale rack, and even these seem to be at least £600-700 (and they are shop-soiled goods). I left the shop feeling very depressed, intimidated and disillusioned. Not the greatest of lifes experiences!
