Amazing collection and super friendly staff
I attended this shop with my mum and I was very nervous about getting my dress. I was not looking for a 'traditional' dress and felt very self aware as I am not typically girly. However I was made to feel so so comfortable. I was not rushed at all and the lady who showed me round (not sure of her name but she had blonde hair!) was very reassuring and did not make me try on anything I did not want to (which has happened in other shops). I can't express how exceptional the service was. I was also surprised how spoilt for choice I was! I thought I wouldn't find one dress but I ended up with a collection I could not choose between. I cannot recommended this warm and friendly shop enough. The rooms to try the dresses on are also very large and brightly lit with plenty of space for mums, bridesmaids etc to assist!

Small collection?
Not sure how they can be accused of having a small collection, it is split between 2 huge bridal showrooms and they must have about 250 current samples!

I personally picked a Pronovias and had to pick between about 60 in that collection alone.

The changing rooms are about the size of an average family living room so certainly not small. I had myself, my mum, two sisters and future mother in law in there and was still plenty of room.

I'd certainly recommend going there, it's where I've got my dress and have told all my engaged friends to go there.

Impersonal, rushed, no special treatment
I was looking forward to going here as I received the impression they had a very large range, however this was not the case. As far as the whole experience went, myself and my companions felt it was extremely impersonal, rushed and not at all special. The 'spacious dressing rooms' were a small box room where you had to stand with your back to the door so you couldn't see the reaction of those coming in, and you have a small handmirror to see the back of the dress with. In addition, one of the dresses was torn and the hoop I was given to try dresses on with was misshapen. We have been to other dress shops where they have made me and my companions feel special but that was certainly not the case here.

Saved my Wedding!!
Im not sure what the last review was on about, but I had a slightly similar situation and they could not of helped more.

I ordered my dress with them (I have to say, the shop is massive and easily has the largest choice out of the load of shops I went to before buying) and a few months later my husband's mother got diagnosed with a bad illness and we decided to bring the wedding forward so she could attend before treatment.

After informing Liverpool Bridal Gallery of the change in date they did all they could to help me out - including opening up after hours and doing fittings then alterations within a few hours so it would be ready in time for me due to the short notice.

The service from Nat (manager) and Pauline (owner) was second to none and they really did save my big day from being a let down.

poor service
the service i have received from this shop is absoloutley atrocious. I ordered a dress in March 2009 for a wedding in August 2010, however due to personal circumstances my wedding was brough forward to April 2010. This shop was not able to deal with the change at all. It is now March 2010 and I still do not have a delivery date for my dress. They are very unhelpful, not offering any alternatives or allowing me to cancel. I have had to order a dress elsewhere as I do not know when this dress will ever turn up. A conversation with them on the phone ended in 'well we cannot say when dresses will arrive as they may get lost in transit'

Amazing dresses, Amazing shop, Amazing staff!
I began shopping for my dress a while back even though my wedding is not until early 2011 - Im one of those people!!

I had been in a number of shops around the Liverpool/Chester/Wirral sort of area since the start of the year and seen a lot of nice dresses.

My friend, who works in Woolton Village, had told me about a new bridal shop that was being built there over the last few months so I added it to my list of must visits!

I did so a few weeks after it opened and I was amazed. The place was huge, probably 4 or 5 times the size of all the shops I had previously been in, and it was all so modern looking like I had walked into some designer boutique at Liverpool One.

They had 3 bridal showrooms stocked full of dresses, I looked at a few from all the rooms including Maggie Sottero, Hollywood Dreams and Jenny Packham (yes, Im still not sure which style I want just yet!!). The staff were really helpful and didnt get pushy with the amount of dresses I wanted to try on and the millions of different styles I wanted to test out.

Once I had picked the ones I wanted to try on you are taken to your own (huge) fitting room which had loads of seating for my mum and my bridesmaids I had taken with me which was great as meant I could keep everything private from anyone else in the shop.

I left in love with the place and even though Ive yet to make my mind up which dress to go for, my list is still in double figures, Im definitely making another visit there with the hope of getting it down to one!

If you do go then hopefully you'll have just as good a time as I did and you'll never want to leave!
