| poor customer service |   | | I had always been impressed with simply brides window display which they change several times a week and always stopped to look on my way to work. When i went in the shop the lady there showed me the dresses then i selected some to try on. however despite making an appointment, i was completely left on my own to try and get into and out of the dresses as someone came inot the shop to look at one childs bridesmaids dress. 'sorry i have an appointment at the moment but please feel free to browse' was not uttered at this customer. my bridesmaid had to help me with one but i was so disgusted i left the shop. what a waste of time. i would expect this sort of treatment if i had just turned up but i had made the effort to make an appointment. | | alicia - 28/07/2010 |  | | Lovely shop with great staff | | | I recently visited Simply Brides to try on some dresses. I booked the appointment beforehand by phone which was easy and the person on the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful. On arrival at the shop we were greeted and shown into their room where the dresses were kept. We were then left for approx 15 minutes to browse the dresses and choose which ones to try on. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and pleasant at all times. They provided advice on designers, style of dresses, prices and also provided accessories to wear with the dresses, shoes/veils/tiaras to try on etc. Overall an extremely good experience but would have liked to seen a bigger range of dresses, although they did stock a large range of Maggie Sottero gowns. | | E Roberts - 03/11/2008 |
